My sister, take your rights
from those who keep you weak,
from those who through a thousand ploys
keep you seated in a house.
Your angry complaining
must become shouting, screaming.
You must break this heavy chain
to liberate your life.
Rise, uproot oppression,
revive the heart drenched in blood.
